Hey .83 lurkers that never ride with us anymore. What's up? Why'd you leave? Are you gone forever or is it just a phase? Or maybe I'll see you a couple of times a year at the big events, like the FHR & Ben Country?
I miss you. Come back.
Also this thread was inspired by Paul's excellent trip down memory lane thread. |

| I was stupid and moved to another city. I am in delicate negotiations to return to Seattle. But it might take a year or so. Or maybe much less. Or I don't know. |

| contrary to popular belief, my recent hiatus from thursday night rides cannot be attributed to my acquisition of a boyfriend. i've been working too much in the last three months. after three months of destroying myself for the mcat.which i didn't take because i've been working too much. so, broken dreams and broken spirit in hand, i'm hoping to return soon. i miss you guys. |

It's true. At first riding around at night going to new places and doing things you never realized you could do in the city is awesome.
Then you've gone to most all of those places and done most of those things and you discover new interesting things to do and places to go.
But, there's always comfort in the fact that no matter how big of a problem alcohol is your life, .83 will accept you and buy you a drink.
Cheers! |

i still enjoy going to new places and seeing new things about my city. maybe not quite as often as before, but surprisingly it still happens regularly.
also, the one thing i really enjoy is always knowing when and where i can find my friends to get together. thursday nights. other things always happen on other nights and weekends, but i like the thursday night breakup of the week to go out and have a good time.
8 years, and i'm still enjoying it. |
