yeah, pretty bizarre. i can't find a link to any kind of article explaining it, but i'm guessing that this would possibly stay level as long as the wheels were aligned like this. that seem plausible?

Ha! I love it. yeah, it stays level even as you ride it. The very top of each "wheel" rides on rollers that are rigidly attached to the frame. The front and rear axle are not rigidly attached to the frame. This is key! Pay no attention to the axles, but imagine all the weight on the rollers above the tires.

The rear is a Reuleaux triangle, the front a Reuleaux pentagon.

As it moves, the weight-bearing rollers maintain the same height off the ground, even though the axles move up and down.

I like this very much.

i know a way of doing this with fixed axles and a round wheel.
