RB-1 ownership DOES rule! We like to get together for a conference call about once a month and discuss how awesome our bikes and parts and stuff are. Give me your phone number, and you can be in on the next call.
We have had an influx of new people recently. All you new people should post here. Especially if your profile on the forum doesn't have a pic and your forum name is nowhere near your real life name.
Its fun and easy. All the cool kids have done it.
How do you post here? EASY!
Step 1: Post some (recent) pics of yourself.
Step 2. Post some pics of your bike/bikes
Step 3 (optional): say something about yourself or how you got brought in.
Look your done. Now wasn't that fun? For inspirational examples look at the previous pages, this one is pretty sparse.

Hey all, I'm Marley. My first ride was King and Queen of the Ravine. Lots of fun, even though I only finished one lap with a flat. Got to keep drinking beer and watch the rest of you tear it up. I grew up in Texas, moved to Spokane in my teens, and have been in Seattle for 10 years. Not leaving anytime soon.
I love getting dressed up in stupid costumes for any and all reasons. Here's me with Mary Kate (my road bike- she's tiny, a little reckless, but also poised when she needs to be, just like Mary Kate Olsen) at Portland's Worst Day Ride. And yes I'll anthropomorphize the shit out my bike all day long.
Reading back through the older posts makes me really sad that I sold my Nishiki, but oh well. Now I've got a fun new Avail road bike and an old Trek mountain bike that I'm in the process of converting into a commuter.
Here's a picture of both bikes, after getting washed.
I got brought in by Joby and Douglas, who both were convinced I'd love riding with you guys. So far, it's proven to be true.

Here is a semi recent pic of me and my steed. The bike is a custom job built by me. I got the frame and rear wheel from Recycled Cycles. I had a Phil Wood BB put in so I would never have to worry about it. I ride the freewheel side of the flip flop hub.
OK, I don't know how to attach a pic. Any advice? - ok, I read the faq. do I have to upload my pics to some sight like Flickr and then link them here?
Thanks Rides Bikes, i figured it out.

Yes. pointythree is not in the business of hosting pixels. Any photo hosting site will do (Flickr, Facebook/Instagram/whateverthefucktheyownnow, etc.), but I'm partial to Imgur. Super easy, don't need an account to upload and they scrub all the EXIF data from your pictures to preserve your privacy.

As horrible as it is to call a guy out on something he promised 10 years ago....yes I still have this frame. Though I put the parts on a larger frame....but I don't like how the new frame handles....so maybe I should build up the Takara again.

Moira.
Forever student. Touches poop in silly costumes professionally. Has recently been informed that touring handlebars are dorky, rides (now) much-battered MB-3 that Wang told me to buy - best $100 I ever spent. Bike noob, but learning.
I like .83 because it reminds me of being 10 and biking around getting into trouble with friends - except there's more beer and fire.
Here is my trusty friend
And a photo of me trying to avoid stepping in a massive cow pie

Tommy. Spent first 23 years of life in flatlands of IL. Then WI. Then DC. Now here.
Longest ride so far: 80.9 miles
I ride because I like experiencing new places that you'd never otherwise get to know in our short time on this rad planet.
Weird fact: I once used to be made of Ti and had to re-learn how to walk after growing 3" taller.
1st bike: Early 90's Schwinn Aerostar Red
I ride a 63 CM Basso that I bought from a rad old clydesdale on CList in Chicago and slowly collected parts for.
I'm usually having fun, even if I fall off my bike.
Newest bike: Salsa El Mar seen riding it hours after purchase on a .83 ride to Scenic Beach:

Hello, my name is Kevin. Some might say I like white chicks. my first ride was Pinky Promise 10.11.12 and I’ve been around more or less ever since. Here's a picture of me with my '89 Rockhopper in summer 2014.
Sadly that super-burly front rack met its end this January.
Here’s a pic of my road bike from the ride out to Clam Slam IV
I’ve been having the n+1 urge recently, so you may see me on a different bike soon. Or not.
THE END
EDIT: See noobs? It wasn't that hard! now get postin'

Hi, my name is Justin and I will be moving to Seattle this summer. I have been reading your blog for a while now and you seem like fun people!
I have a bike that was in a Christmas parade once
and I have another bike that Deven has tried to sell without my permission, and I have a third bike that I hate and it is at Henry's house (or maybe Lee's, or maybe Scott's, I really couldn't tell you).

I'm still the same old dickbutt on two wheels, but I finally got around to fixing up my dad's OG Raleigh from the 70s this weekend. Few, if any, of you have seen me on this steed, but the steel is real and belongs between one's knees, so don't be surprised when I roll up on this thing next time while I rebuild my more modern ride.
Also, newbs, introduce yourselves here!

As you can probably tell, I ride a crappy Kilo TT, but I love my crappy Kilo TT : )
