I also just realized no one knows who I am so here you go.
My name is Ian and I live in Roosevelt. When I'm not working I help put on PAX in Seattle and Boston. I also like to ride alleycats in Seattle even though I'm not fast and pick crappy routes. I always ride in the DBD.
I ride two Raleighs: a 2007 Cadent 1.0 and a 1972(?) Grand Prix.

Well hello there.
There are about a billion things that I should be doing at work right now, so this seems like the appropriate time to introduce myself to a bunch of people who already know me.
My name's Maile. Say it with me: "my-lee." Yes, like Miley Cyrus, if you must.
Acceptable alternatives include, and are limited to:
- Mailemae ("myleemay")
- Milo
- Miles
- Mai-Mai
- Mai-Tai
- Martinez
- Miss Martinez
There are a few others but I won't go into that here. Any other name variations, derivations, interpretations, or extrapolations must be submitted in writing to the Department of Nicknamery at least two weeks prior to usage, and will probably be rejected.
This is what I look like in the winter:
This is what I look like in the summer:
These are my bikes - Sterling the Schwinn Voyageur:
and Paolo the Faggin:
If we haven't already met, come say hi! Sometimes I'm nice.

I'm Gen known as the Onion Boy.
I've no pic of my rides right now, but I ride an old Kona cruiser built up as a 3 speed, and a 1-speed FW Pinarello track bike with a bottle opener brazed onto it, a fixed gear Raleigh. Also a Ti-Cycles racing bike (650 wheels) from my old days when I raced, and a Ti-Cycles mountainbike (that's the one I actually raced) with a big DING in the seat tube, plus a Pashley Princess and a Kona Jake the Snake, and a thing with a motor called a Honda Dream.
When I dig the images out of one of my old computers I can post them. I'm particularly proud of the 3 Speed - it has a Down Lo Glo on it, and is my transpo.
I'm your normal weird sort of folk who, when not riding, loves good ale, books and boxing. I have a very tolerant husband with more bikes than I have and two cats, collect old newspapers and vintage hats. I'm happy to be on this forum!

Oh I realize I've never done one of these. Hi I'm Kyleen, mostly a lurker.
I have a traitor and an RB-1 and a cannondale and an orange mixte with a giant basket on it.
Seriously. Lurkin.

Oh hell, why not.
I'm Garth. I spend all my time at various arts 501(c)3's , and when I get burnt out I go ride my bicycle. It's a good system.
This is me:
This is my LHT:
This is the best street sign I saw on that trip, or ever, really:
I also have a single-speed Soma mountain bike conversion that I cobbled together, and am just finishing rebuilding a Lambert Viking from the 70's. It'll be a mess of happy mismatched parts.
I'm a happy drunk, an eagle scout, and a theater nerd. I like bikes?

i'm a little over 2 years late to this party, but i need a break from work right now and this seems like a good choice.
hi, my name is kristen. most people call me kristen, but lee calls me forseti. i love bourbon. i am a californian by birth, a montanan by upbringing, and i've lived in seattle for 5 years (almost to the day!). i design inhalable drugs for a pharmaceutical company. this is what i look like when i've spent time on my hair and am doing science to things:
i can be seen riding a LeMond Buenos Aires (not pictured) that I adore, or a bianchi pista:
i can also be seen on a surly LHT that is a size or two too small for me. i usually save it for touring/camping trips:
i'm not always known for making great choices, but i like to think that i'm nice once you get to know me or when i've had enough to drink, so please don't be shy!

So many new people on the forums that I've never seen or heard of? Sock puppets? More sock puppets? Actual people? Oh look, it's that time again to introduce yourself to the forums!
I'm only 5 years late. I'm Rob. I look like this:
or this:
I mostly ride this (the bike, not the car):
My newest baby is this:
When I'm in Seattle, my bike is a Bianchi Volpe:
I hope Rogelio still has it!
I won the Greenlake race twice! And once Rogelio took my picture after!
Ay Carumba! Rogelio takes the best pictures.
In my spare time, I enjoy riding my bike and throwing cans of PBR in fires with Derrick. And I miss you fucktards. Find me a job so I can come back to Seattle.

And this is what I look like with my Freddie Mercury stache:
If you want to see me drunk as fuck I usually ride at least 2 thursdays a month and I will definitely be out this week.

Great and we still don't know what you look like, or what bike you ride, or anything that would be useful in a thread like this. You know, to associate a forum name with a face.

Why hello there. My name's Aaron, but a lot of folks call me by my last name, Miller (occasionally 'Millertime'). I'm a long-time lurker who's been on a handful of rides over the past handful of years. I grew-up deep in Appalachia, riding & racing mountain bikes in the woods of West Virginia. In 2006, I moved to the PNW to go to snowboarding all the time - err, I mean go to college - and stuck around afterwards to work for that man who builds rockets, puts clocks inside mountains, buys newspapers and happens to own a multi-billion dollar e-commerce company. I became mildly famous on the Internet for doing some less-than-scrupulous things involving the roof of the Space Needle and had to shuffle my employment situation across the lake, but I'm still riding to work every day I can.
I cut my teeth in the Seattle bike scene back when Critical Mass was still a thing worth attending, helping cork many an intersection and overtake the Viaduct from time-to-time. After (finally) graduating college, I got sick of riding my mtb everywhere and I shipped my dad's 1978 Raleigh Super Course over here and got it back into a working state, only to destroy the front fork by crashing it on the Fremont bridge on my way home after a late night of heavy drinking. Turns-out it's hard to find a replacement 1" threaded fork with a >270mm steer tube...
Fortunately, I'd just picked-up a bike from a snowboard buddy: an unbranded Raleigh with a carbon fiber fork and rear triangle. Rumor has it that Joe Skrivan built it, but I'm not much for believing rumors (plus, it's got Shimano Tiagra shifters on there - would Joe really stoop that low?)
Anyways, that's about it. Per SOP, here's some relevant pictures. See y'all in the saddle
Despite what the word filter may lead you to believe, riding a mtb is f'n good for you!
I don't have two water bottle cages to just carry water
Back when it had a front fork :(
I've braked with my face a few times...

Ahoy. I'm the other Sweeney, NOT a Sean Sweeney, and point83 stole my bike from the guy who stole my bike. I've been around, on and off, for 3 years and thought it might be time to finally tell everyone my names is James, not Sean. Seamus is an acceptable middle ground.
Sweeneys (I'm on the left):

The fixie that was stolen back. I removed the wingnuts. There's enough of them in the group as it is.
The geared bike you're most likely to see me on:
And I'll make a rare appearance on this (no, it isn't a bianchi, and no, it isn't celeste green). It went on my first .83 ride with me:

Sup everyone, I'm Chase. I just moved back home so to speak and built a new bike-cycle. I recently built a fixie because I love the simplicity and affordability. My brother-in-law owned a bike shop in Colorado. I was an old bmxer and he introduced me to the Velodrome. I love to ride and I love all kinds of crazy bikes!
