Haha yeah, it's Seth. I forgot that part. Also, I think I botched the whole insert images HTML img deal. Which is kinda funny considering I build websites for people. I'm working this Thursday, but I have Sunday off so I'll be able to make that ride! Are there a lot of users here that ride track/drome? Or just mash potatoes?

FNG, I am very disappoint that you haven't yet updated your post to show valid hyperlinks.

....when like, this whole group rode fixies. Now it's all cross bikes and front loaded touring gravel grinding swift industry decked out adventure bikes or GTFO right?
But forreal this guy's from Boston, rides fixies, was an army ranger, builds websites and takes pictures?
Is there anything FNG can't do!?
My next ride will be Joeball mtn. I called Ajat a sock puppet once and he proved me way wrong so anything's possible.
Don't be a jerk Fred. You know I love you but a bike is a magical thing no matter what kind of bike it is. Lets not make this into a this type of riding is better then that type.
I mean really we all know the correct answer to what type of bike should you have is all the types.
I ride fixed. There is always some fixed on a ride.

Bikes aren't magical. Look at Marks. Its a piece of shit. Its not a magical piece of shit.
If he was a Ranger he'll be able to endure a little light hazing around his sw8 track bikes. Don't get too excited

For some reason, this attempt at HTML decided to work. Here's my 'so 2004 and not hip like you guys beach cruisers fixie'. Which I would agree about being passe if it wasn't for being a courier, crit racing and alley cats.
tehschkott, 2008/9 they made us stop that shit.
Monie, stoked to help out Saturday too!

Tired tehschkott? Sounds like you could use a nap.
Does anyone here ride out to or on the Velodrome?

We rode to Marymoor park on a sunday ride to check out the velodrome a few months back... Not sure if anyone does it more frequently...

If anyone's ever down to check it out, I am. I've HEARD that you can pretty much ride all you want outside of scheduled classes and events. Which would be awesome.
As of now the only real hauling I've been able to do has been out to Madison or crashing down Capitol Hill at 6 am. Always looking to stretch a bit.

Rez has done that once or twice recently. I'd check with him...
It's been a while since we've packed in to the ghettodrome... the fountain was back on when I took a lap yesterday.

Newguy, pay no heed to the fixie haters. They're all, LITERALLY, hypocrites. They're just angry that they're too old/fat/lazy/etc. to be mashing around on a fixie. With that said, Seattle's topology is not Boston's, and if'n you care more for your knees and don't mind being rad, investing in a sweet steel steed is in your future.

Also you never know what route a ride is going to take, they aren't always the most fixie friendly... not on purpose either.

.83 has never ever taken a ride that isn't fixie friendly. Skinny tires, on the other hand...

Dan: I love the fountain. That thing is ridiculous. I live in Belltown so it's a 30 second whip down there.
Rogelio: I Prefer VIM (V-I-M because everytime I save it, it autocorrects to emacs.), no fl4m3 u 1337 h4x0r. Actually, I've stopped using everything besides wordpress for most clients. I don't have time to live in that shit anymore, especially when most of them just google ideas and say "buy that and make it mine". Mashed potatoes = mash. It's a played out term for doing fast things on (traditionally) track bikes via 'the streets'.
Which I plan on doing ivo downtown at some point tonight. Not going to lie, I wouldn't hate a circa 2004 fixie mob crashing hills and drinking beers.

A) Welcome to word filters; they're pretty epic.
B) Then we mostly mash taters, with some park trails.
