so, similar to ryder's obsessive-compulsive "introduction" posts over at the LJ community, here's a place to show off who you are in real life. i'm assuming that not everyone here will use their same LJ username, so if you're changing that at all, include your LJ name to ease the confusion.

so anyways, i'm...

name:
scottie kosman (old LJ name: teh_human_torch. yes, "teh" was spelled intentionally wrong... all the other iterations of The Human Torch were taken)

(i'm the one on the left)

rides:
blue/silver/black trek 1000

yeah, mostly just add the img tag into the allowed list. BBCode's image handling sucks.

i had html "off" in my profile, that might have been it

i do have img tags turned on in the config, so everyone else is seeing all the images ok? no one is seeing code?

my xhtml-compliant image tags were showing up as plain text, not images. i had to go back in and edit my post to use BBCode instead of html.

oddly enough, though, the html bold tag worked just fine.

*shrug*

Sunday's at 3:30pm there is also the UDistrict drunken kickball association, at the park on 50th and 8th. Excellent crossover with .83

Hi, I don't have any pictures of the bike I'm riding right now, but it's a noisy and old blue mountain bike with a whole bunch of broken stuff, ill-adjusted and dangerous cantilever brakes and the distinguishing feature of a little "Our Community Bikes" sticker as a makeshift head badge.

Here's me picking at something:

My name is Rich and this is my old Nishiki, Colorado: moderate trail bike, rock-solid commuter and all purpose cruiser. I bought it new from Recycled Cycles in 1998 and have since continually added newer, better parts to old frame.
For those of you that I've met, it's been a great pleasure. For those I have not, I see some nice bikes and some nice folks that I'll be talking to in the future. Each ride has been a blast! See y'all out there.

My name is chris. langston is my last name, LJ handle and obviously my tag here as well. I ride a mid 80's Raleigh USA named Shine, for her shiny shiny stock forks. Here's some photos of me and it.

ha ha! (on right)

This is Shine. She makes me the happy.

My name is Tony (Anthony to people who have known me more than 20 years) my LJ handle is the same as here.

My main addiction is music. Especially the live and sweaty close proximity club kind. So if you are going to see a show let me know and I will most likely show up.

My bike is a Cannondale Track bike from a few years back. Gradually being converted from the set up for relatively flat Maryland to hilly here.

It has been great to meet everyone and ride. Thanks for having me!

I am Jordi. I am very new to this whole forum scene. I do have pictures of myself, but really don't feel like dealing with photobucket's shit this late at night. I am only 15, so you can recognize me right there.

I ride an old black steel frame fuji singlspeed that everyone at work is quick to inform me is worth less than the fizík bartape on the drop bars.

Sounds like a hot bike to me. It'll fit right in.

Hope to see you out soon. Sure, you might not make it into the bars with us, but we're all about diversity in our group. You'd be the youngest member!
