The same for me, I think you can probably find something from me bitching about flash usage on the front page.

I'm that bastard who hardly ever rides with y'all, but hangs around the forum all the time (I work my side job Tuesday nights and study Japanese tea ceremony Thursday nights). I'm Davis here and in real life, mnemophobe on LJ and around the interblag. Zack introduced me to .83 back in summer 2005, when he dragged me out for the Tag Team Trifecta -- I was fresh on the bike after recovering from lung surgery.
This is me at the TTT, on my road bike:
And this is my hott fixie I ride almost exclusively now:

Anyway, for historical reasons, I gots to know. What's 'LJ'? Livejournal?
The zombie threads are here, and they want braaaaaaaains. They already ate mine, so I continued it (especially since I don't think most of y'all know who the fuck I am).
Yeah, LJ=livejournal.

That was a dark time in my life. But only because we didn't yet have electricity out in the sticks. Other than that it was quite pleasant.
Hi my name is Jamie Stangeland (Stanglor). I'm a squid racer who can drink beer and has done so with .83 a number of times. I'm mostly around for the .Datey-Three aspect since I have not so much game, and even less good wingmen.
I like to feel good about myself by bringing my $5000 race bike to the Midnight race and beating up on all you guys. I could be a pro squid, but instead I'm just staying local and being a Boeing Engineer. Yeah I went to Lakeside High School, but not because I'm rich (but I am still and elitist prick).
It's a good picture - you shuold really go check it out because you can see me beating 2 pros in the picture. I kick ass.

stanglor needs his own .83 race category.
i shiver to think how many bottles of booze he could go home with from our races if he decided to sink whole heartedly into alcoholism.

i'm still the same dude i was up earlier in the thread, although i no longer have any of those three bicycles. i'm the guy with the middle-oldest kozmo bag and the killer goatee. mostly these days i ride the rust and green rb-t, and i'm part of the elite .83 utility bike club. one of these days i'll get fenders and a new fork and i'll be bringing fixie back, oh yeah.

My names Erik, and I don't lurk, I hang about (different vibe). Never been out riding, but mean to, someday.
I'm a commuting squid on a torelli with more "speeds" than I can count, but I find them usefull for the hills on the MS150, which I will be riding again for the eighth time this year.
I live with my girlfreind and her very large dog, Stella:
I make a jersey with the logos and names of my sponsors on it every year for the MS150. That's my pony hiding under my shell there.
And I like to cook when camping:

I have a feeling that if you come out for a ride you'll fit in just fine.

Hi I'm Zack and I'm that crazy white guy riding a bike around south Bombay.
While it is pretty fun being able to make this city bat an eyelid, I miss riding with you all. I also will be back for a while in May.

If you want to stop stanglor - you can sign up to be a USCF referee and impose your will (and you get paid).

Actually, Langston is my bitch.
Mopeds! You gave up fixed gears for MOPEDS! Do you still dress the same?! Hey, a couple of Moped Army (MF) came by my shop for blinky lights a few weeks back. Their thighs were kind of whimpy.
Oh, yeah!

I still ride bikes a lot, though not near as much as before.. don't worry, I'll be back out before you know it. When you get a big job at my work, a building as big as the one we're working on now, it means late nights 5 days a week (sometimes more) for MONTHS! But, we are nearing the end. Soon I'll get to come out on week day rides again and get my legs back.
Those two that you speak of that live in West Seattle, they are rad kids. One just moved to Ballard and he keeps his ped in my garage. He rides bicycles a lot, too. Infact, a number of the MFers do, and I plan to get them out on a Thursday one of these weeks.
I miss you guys.

To once again bring back a dead thread: I'm Kav and I'll be moving to Seattle from Washington DC in a week. Anyone have neighborhood recommendations or general advice?
Here is a picture of me with my super awesome First Ladies puzzle at the DC Street Pirates Christmas party last year.
There is a really bad picture on my Fuji on my profile, maybe I'll take a better one one day.
I look forward to much drinking, biking, and general rabble rousing.

.
Having lived in DC for quite a while, the good news is that most DC neighborhoods have equivalent Seattle neighborhoods. Dupont Circle is Capital Hill, Georgetown is Queen Anne, Embassy Row is the International District, Crystal City is Ballard, Mount Pleasant is Fremont...
Which neighborhood are you coming from? Better yet, which Metro stop?
