Is there such a thing? Like for stems and seat posts and such? I vaguely remember hearing of hardware with unique bit paterms for such a thing but I am having trouble with my research....any leads?

Theft-resistant is more appropriate. Security Bolts, anti-tamper, etc. Looks at the bolts holding together the bathroom stall walls next time you are at a public restroom.

Greg(somafixed) said he used to fill his bolt holes with wax too.

I've got a set of Pinhead brand hardware. Skewers, seat post clamp, and headset star-nut bolt (keeps stem and fork secure).
The Pitlock brand is supposed to be better, there's a loose steel collar around the actual security head, so that pliers or vise-grips cannot grap onto the outside and turn.
I think there are a couple of other bicycle-specific systems I'm not remembering.
The downside to my Pinhead system is that it requires I remember to bring the special wrench with me. If I lose it I have to order a new one based on serial number, or just cut the bolts off and buy new. The other downside is that my whole handle bar/brake levers/shifters are still vulnerable. Also the saddle is vulnerable.
The security hardware Andre shows is fairly readily available. The bolts are a touch more scarce, but Home Depot always has the bits in stock. I'm not sure how tough it would be to outfit all the metric hardware on a bike with security bolts (and I'm also not knowledgeabe enough about bolt strength to know if I'd want to trust them in my stem faceplate, for instance).
In addition to filling regular hex bolts with wax, I've heard of people super-gluing a BB in. Then to get it out douse with acetone.

I use Zefal Locking QR skewers on half my bikes, they work great, best of both worlds. To unlock them you just have to turn the bike upside down.
They have a seat post version if it fits your style clamp
not sure how easy it is to destroy them but they will deter the casual thief
