Schwalbe. I had the marathon's on the old touring ride for a while, but they're heavy. I hear they make the 'enduro', which so far the 23s on my paramount are pretty nice.

If youre going schwalbe might i steer you from the tired marathon narrative and to the g-ones.

Also a tire im liking as of late: the specialized sawtooth

Some of the marathon derivitives are worth it. I like the Supremes for being less anchor like and quite a bit more grippy.

I have the Soma Shikoros on my wife's bike and she's reported excellent traction and no flats. And they look pretty cool.

Hey Joe, you know everything about everything, right?

Well, Jen got a new iphone and some of the icons for the apps that she has on the phone don't appear on the home page(s). She has the app, but not the icon for it; how can that icon be restored?

A couple things to check.

1)Lately, iPhones have been doing that "automatically dump your favorite apps into like-category folders". I think it's stupid, but maybe if there are some of those folder icons (with tiny app symbols on 'em), go in there, and pull the shortcut out.

2)Alternatively, she should be able to do a re-install of the app on the phone via the itunes store, and not need to pay for it again (if it was paid).

3)I think also in the app settings, you have a way of re-doing that.

Dear Joe,

What is the most convenient location to fill a growler between Seattle and Manchester Park?

Well, I can tell you where it's NOT, that's for sure.
