As far as kegs: how about one IPA-ish stuff and one of PBR-ish stuff.
Really? One keg isn't enough?
From another thread.

The group at Meg's opening was approximately Ben Country sized and based on when I left the keg was only serving for about 90 minutes.

Just did the math, and yeah, two half barrels might be a bit much, since some folks dont drink much beer, or don't drink at all. And there's always a few liquor bottles in the mix too.
One half barrel + one qtr barrel should be fine though. Assuming 50 people (that's usually about what we have right?), that only comes to about 60 fl. oz. per person.

We're going camping, not throwing a spring social on the frat-house lawn.
How about?:
One keg of something nicer, not PBR/Rainer/Oly; incentive to get there.
BYOB on other beer, with people refraining from getting glass containers due to their post-use haul-out weight.

It's like a golf clap, but for when someone does something beautiful, funny or outstanding.

Ben, I'd love it if you could bring a fifth of Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban 12-year. Don't worry about the ice, I take it neat.
Here's some kebab drama for you. I looked into getting kebabs from home from a company that makes special marinades for lamb kebabs. They vacuum pack them, place them in dry ice and ship them so they're super tasty and fresh. Unfortunately, shipping for a $7.50/lb bag of kebabs meat and veggies from the east coast is approximately $11.50/lb, thus making kebabs for 60 around $200-300.
Instead, when I go to the east coast for college interviews, I'll put the dry iced kebab meat into my checked baggage. Then we'll have a Thursday night ride with kebabs.
That means you should start planning to bring normal S24O sustainment. Sorry all.

Also,, I am bringing coffee. I figure about a lb. Should I bring my large french press, or small french press?

T minus 2 Days till NotBC8
Topic: WE RIDE
WE RIDE: Like we do every week, except this is one of those extra awesome dry spring days. You've already had three other days to prep stuff. Quit playing with bike and camping stuff and go ride. Don't forget to stop by the post office on your way down to WLC and mail your Mom/Grandma/Sister her Mother's day card.

I am not sure what socks to wear guys. 1/4 or full length? Maybe no-show?
What do you guys think about a yellow helmet with one of the neon .83 shirts, and grey shorts? Too many colors, or can I pull it off?
Also, should I wear shorts with a 5", 7" or 9" inseam?
As far as accessorizing, full-finger or cutoff gloves?
What an adorable dog. I can't wait to play with it in the woods this ben country!

Would love to ... however there are some external parties (including a very cute puppy) involved in this decision. Will try to commit one way or another by tonight.
