I've got a red Trek 1000, with suntour components, that my roommate destroyed. She shifted the rear derailer into the rear tire (I know, I should've had it adjusted) and tore the damn thing and the hanger off. So now there's half a wheel mount on one side. Still has a good fork, stays, royal compe brackes, front Suntour shifter and levers (frame mt) and maybe could be rigged into a fixie. I'm in Montlake if anyone wants it.

Sounds like a nice bike. Royal Compe Brakes are nice!
Someone could just have the parts swapped to a new frame and have a sweet bike. Many shops in town have used framesets. I don' have any right now, but I know Recycled and Mobius do!

Trek 1000 is the bike I ride. Kicks ass. Anyone who needs a frame would be smart to snap it up.
