2 XL el camión burritos acquired, double wrapped in foil, ready for Joeball's 'heat and eat' technique.

Pro tip learned last year: biodegradable ass wipes.

Not even trippin' on the rain and neither should anyone else as long as you're prepared.

Huge shout out to Douglas (who's birthday is this weekend) for hooking up a few kegs.

Get a good nights rest (or not) see you all in the AM.

Hey look guys, I got my cyclocross bike all prepped and ready for touring (ok still needs a seat)!

Too bad I spent the last 48 hours violently expelling everything I put into my body.

Dear Ben, I am sick.

Well, that was quick: fell back for a flat and got lost at 145 N and Greenwood; don't turn left on 145th as you'll have a fun time finding Greenwood again.

Anyway, heading back into town.

And for the record: finished my bike in time and was wholly prepared, but for preplanning my route to the ferry.

Caught up with Gamble at the ferry; put my bike on top for the final Seattle leg; say, cars are fast!

Thanks, Ben, for a swell time; can't wait for BCX!

Jake and I are settling in for beers and lunch in downtown Poulsbo. And we're soaking wet.

Hardest Ben Country yet and I loved it. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong, but I'm home safe and interested in doing it again. After numerous flats, wet/failed patch attempts on the ride out, my front tire stopped staying seated on the rim. Bulge, pinch, flat. Hitched a ride in less than 10 minutes from west of the Hood Canal Bridge right into downtown Kingston. As always, thanks for putting up with me. I am happy to put up with you all.

Thanks to Douglas, Joe, scouting team for making this happen. Ha, I went to write "happen" and I instinctively wrote, "happy" first. Makes sense.

a truly magnificent time, and easily one of my favorites.
coulda done with out that last 20 miles of sloshing highway bustle, but you can't win em all.

thanks for getting weird with me.

Everyone should give douglas a proper thanking for supplying all of the beer last night for free, also joe for the keg logistics.

also, thanks to paul, fred & the balls for helping scout.

Ride both ways crew!

Hella fun.

Thanks Ben, Douglas, Joe, Garth, Fred, Shahan.

Tictoc and I chose to ride through the picturesque valley into Poulsbo followed by a nice jaunt through Lemolo to the agate pass bridge. When the rain subsided it was quite nice.

Made the 5:30 ferry by 30 seconds, srsly.

oh, no need to feel bad; the choice was entirely mine. an entirely pleasant experience teleporting and time traveling from place to place, next time I'll just need to wait until I get to camp before I eat that cookie.

Scott, I'll need to get a hold of you sometime this week to get my helmet and spare inner tube out of your car. I figured I'd let you sleep in instead of bugging you this morning. I owe you big time.

also thanks to rza for the coffee and a dry towel in Bainbridge. hugely needed after several hours in the rain. rolled into the ferry terminal and was joined in short order by Fred, Squirel, Andre, Rob, Stephen, and Kevin.

I hope someone threw the Sword of Depravity into the river as was it's fate.

But if someone picked up my saw, I'd love to get it back.

Dravis got your saw, and one of the swords. The other lies shattered on the east side of the hood canal bridge.

I have someone's folding green camp chair, uses poles like a tent. Anyone?

Thanks for the times all. That was impressive.

I have the saw. I think you have my number. Just bug me. I can drop it off with you at some point, or you can pick it up.

Also, the sword is next to it, but I am sure I could toss it in a body of water. I just hope it doesn't get tossed back.

mad props to those who gunned it all the way home via Bainbridge, I was thoroughly pooped by the time we go to my car in Edmonds.

Great times, still amazed I passed out for the evening at dusk. Here are a few photos from Saturday and a few from Sunday before I packed up the camera due to rain.https://flic.kr/s/aHsjXUaCKB

Wooooo, yeah, I wanna join this thanks for a great weekend train! My first Ben Country, first bike camping in general, had super fun! My shiny new drivetrain is properly filthy. The ride back had a few disappointments:

-Mike's 4 Star BBQ closing literally as we pulled up
-biking to the Bainbridge Ferry, and the docked boat closed entry literally as we pulled up (though plus side, Mike and I found Jessica in a downpour on 305, so we had another ferry friend!! And then Jessica and I had plenty of time to change from wet clothes to dry, and use the bathroom blow dryer as a clothes/hair dryer)
-coffee shack at the ferry terminal had also closed, literally as we pulled up

Great times overall! I like you people.

Made the 630 Bainbridge with about a minute to spare and minimal rain, riding back on a tire with a 2 inch gash, stuffing about everything we could find inside of it, resulting in an unsettling bulge that totes disrupted my cadence.

Good time and I guess thats all Ill say since there is seemingly so much we are not aloud to talk about now. Also, did I miss Dave's flute concerto, or was that something he did solo, naked, on a river rock at sunrise?

You didn't hear my rendition of "Amazing Grace?" Solo, yes, but fully-clothed, in my tent, 6:30 AM Sunday.

Seriously.

I enjoyed packing at 830am knowing you were all massing across the street.

Best route to the Edmonds ferry. If you bought a ticket before torrey showed, you're a sucker (I am a sucker)

Bikes, Drugs, Hills, Dirt and artificial Blue Sky camping. What more do you need really...

Sunday morning Stephen's first words to me "Adam, did you poop?"

I am glad that both Rob and Scott are ok.

Found on shoulder of 305:

Black, ray ban style hipster shades that say "ride" on the ear stems.
