If facebutt is any indication, it looks like Torrey was spotted en route to the coast.

SRSLY. We drive back via shelton and then along Highway 106, then up 3 to Bremerton. Very enjoyable, gotta see a good piece of Hood Canal on the way home. Sandra is overjoyed at the huge amount of clams that she will be consuming.

i really need to compensate for this weekend with some fruits and vegetables.
i had an amazing time waking up early, eating bacon and clam concoctions, drinking beer, hiking, biking. I didn't get any shots of the beautiful saturday morning dig, and after seven years, my point and shoot camera died on me this AM.
I rode the moto up highway 101 around the peninsula and came home via the Kingston ferry. I rode past a two hour wait line of cars, got straight to the front of the line and was the very very very last vehicle allowed onboard. zero wait time.
Jake, while everyone was bummed that we didn't get to see much of you this weekend in our assortment of camps, big thank you for getting all of us to congregate on the coast to do fun things.
Thank you clam cleaners and clam and bacon cookers.
Holler at those bacon grease fried gold fish crackers.
Note to self: make sure Justin and I do not wear matching t-shirts. Takes an extra sec to figure out which one of us the pic is of.

Clam slam 4 is in the books!
Way to show up and blow up point83!
I was bummed I didn't get to hang with the crowd as much as I wanted to, but you guys slammed the clams anyway. I look forward to next year, my daughter being a year older and to a new crop of razor clams.
Post photos or videos if you got em'

This Eagle Scout wasn't prepared for the cooking part of the slam, so I got my 15 in about 30 minutes and was like, "Shit, what do I do with these?"
After much internal debate I gave my gun to Monie, went home early and had a friend make chowder, which worked out perfect because I learned how to clean clams in a sink and what I need to bring next time.
Ian: Yeah I didn't use your gun at all. Sunday morning walked to the beach and didn't see anyone I knew, shrugged my shoulders and turned around.

I have the weirdest sunburns from this weekend. they'll fade long before the memories from this trip.
thanks to the following --
Tom and Janelle: for bringing the other half of my gear to the park. also for letting me borrow your clam gun.
Justin: for letting me stay in his campsite and generally being rad all weekend. the ride out on Friday was so great (excluding the last 15 miles of headwind), doubly so by having someone else there to share it with.
Nick: for the ride into town on Friday night.
Derrick: for showing me how to dig clams. never done it before and it was surprisingly easy.
Torrey and Monica: for all the beach hiking and exploring on Saturday.
Kevin: for sharing post-ride beers and the train back from Centralia on Sunday.
Patrick: for letting me borrow that pump to help figure out the source of that flat tire I had on Saturday night.
Jake: for organizing this thing every year.

I'm still confused about this whole Sarah vs. Sandra thing, but thanks for letting me crash in the party campsite/urinal!
