I guess we all know what our parents were doing back in August! I turn 36 Sunday.
There's also a whole SLU of birthdays at IslandWood this week (see what I did there?) Wish I could enjoy sun and bikes with you all, but I can't and it makes me sad.
Have fun tonight and for the love of all that's sweet and delicious try to stay (somewhat) safe.....unless you suck......then you do you.
Golden gardens is first. Beer stop at 7 11 at the locks now.

Blah. Bikes stolen from golden gardens. Purple 54cm bridgestone XO2, white bar tape, silver fenders, silver rear rack. green 62cm rivendell simpleone (single speed) with black colin front rack, revelate frame bag, black full fenders with black reflective tape.
Will post pictures and serials tomorrow when I can get at my laptop. Bummers.

Who's bike got stolen? How many? This makes me super sad- was wondering why you weren't at Gas Works.

Shosho and donavanm. We stayed behind at golden gardens with haulin colin to watch the sunset and stars and lightning. Between 9:50 and 10:15 or so the bikes disappeared. They were nice enough to leave colins cargo tandem and my helmet behind. Nothing important missing besides my house keys (i think). Colin was awesome enough to provide a ride to gas works, and folks there provided consolation beers.
I plan on reporting the serials etc tomorrow. Would appreciate it if people keep an eye out, or let me know where to watch. These are not common bikes; Ive never seen another Simpleone in seattle.

Anyone find a long sleeve club jersey? Mine didn't make it home last night.
I'm sorry to hear about the stolen bikes, I know there's 100 things on your to-do list, but make sure you report them to https://twitter.com/stolenbikessea
Edited: apparently my U-lock is missing too... I may be be able to scrounge that one up though.

Bike theives are getting more bold - I can't think of any time bikes were stolen DURING A RIDE before. That's a load of bullshit. I'll check the chop-shop homeless shelter near my workplace for the next few days to see if anything pops up.
