Next week is for Jello wrestling, slip'n'slides, glowstick fights and general shenanigans.
This week, it's going to be hot as fuck so let's ride somewhere where we can swim, get nekid and otherwise do our normal thing.

I got a written warning from a bike cop for having an open container on Tuesday. It was a rainier in a koozy.
might be a good day to bring "water" bottles.

Thank god you didn't have to pay that $27 fine.

If you are on your bike? Does that violate the open container in a vehicle law? Or is that just a open container in public violation?

Was the warning at Westlake? I think they are trying to get the drunks and crackheads out of there. In the past they have been fairly hands off with us. But that may be changing. For now we might trying being a bit more circumspect.

Dear Ben,
I have a flight at 7 AM which I need to pack for. Please keep the twitters updated because I think it would be easier to spend way too long out tonight than to wake up in time for it.

You know it was a wonderful night when Dravis rides up and tells you he has a present for you...and you think to yourself how wonderfully hilarious it would be if he were referring to your underwear...but sadly you were sure they we're in your pannier...
Then it turns out it IS your underwear.
Yup.

My first time swimming at Pritchard Beach, that was great. So many of the other swimming holes have rocky shores, it was nice to not murder my feet on ingress/egress. That little trail that put us into the park was deluxe too, it felt like being transported inter-dimensionally .

I don't know how I've never been on the Chief Sealth trail before, but all I could think was "this is magical. Please don't end." So cool to ride under those powerlines up the hill with no cars!

Who donated a tube to my flat fund at Bush Garden? You will receive a certificate redeemable for 1 (ONE) high-five and 2 (TWO) beerz at a future .83™ Bicycle Ride of your choosing. Thank you!
Also, big ups to Dave for planning a ride most rad and Marley and Dravis for hanging back while I had a miserable mechanical time on the Sealth trail.

I have some tree huggin' hippie's t-shirt. I picked it up as we were leaving the swimmin' hole.
