The mountainbike race? I know someone who has done it a few times, he's a beast, trains by running up mountains in Colorado. He's the only person to do all the 14ers self supported at once. http://longranger.justinsimoni.com/

I've been following a few blogs this year of people doing this route (and others)and living vicariously through one particular woman, Small Tomatoes. She's a Blackburn Ranger, which is a super cool ambassador program through Blackburn where they basically outfit you with all their stuff, and you get to ride all summer and document it. They do the Great Divide and Pacific Coast Highway. Seems intense but super rad.

Which exists to promote their chinese knockoffs of on-trend "bikepacking" gear that was invented by tiny american companies

The domestically made standards are way higher quality than their clones. Revelate is cheaper too!

TIL rear derailleur guards are a thing. They don't look very useful for anything .. maybe parked tip-overs.

Despite my lulz about some sweet MAGNA action, this is good shit right here. Cheers dude!

Especially useful is this GPX file I found linked in there. Damn what a route!

I wonder if people ever lose their iphones riding it.
