Is there another option? Is the FSA fine? I'm not really into spending $80 at Rivbike.

I have a big box of Diatech Melon Cup roller bearing headsets which are probably way overkill, but I can give you a good deal on one of those if you're interested.

Whoa! The Melon Baller is a lot of headset. Like, twice as much as I need.
Also, looks like the needle bLaStEr is actually threaded.
Seems like it'll be the FSA unless someone has a better idea.

As America's Needle Bearing Headset Czar, my recommendation is the recent production from the taiwanese brand Token. The normal 1 1/8" threadless needle-bearing-cartridge model is the TK667N but most sellers only vaguely describe them.
They're cheaper and better than any of the other options, including most of the vintage Stronglight models I imported from the Netherlands back in the day

Try it with your existing headset before buying a new one.
I've built a lot of low trail bikes and currently own 4 of them. I've only used a needle bearing headset once, and only because I already had it. All of these bikes can be ridden no hands just fine.

Cross posting from ibob:
Quote:
I wrote to the UK shop that is selling these (SpaCycles.co.uk). Their site doesn't list the US as a place they will ship to. But they wrote back and told me they could and the pricing. Here is there response:
"Yes, we can ship this headset to the US, VAT free and the postage airmail would be £7. The total would be £32 and the VAT free total would be £26.67. The headset
below has needle roller bearing top and bottom.
Shipping costs would be the same for both headsets. The second headset is slightly easier to adjust than the first.
You can order online if you wish, putting your full US address in the form, BUT select UK as the country and mention in the comments section P&P quoted £7 and VAT free total to be £26.67. Or you could e-mail your
address and phone with your card details (0044 (0)1423 887 003)."
So choice of tange full needle bearing, or the mixed needle/ball, for about $45 shipped.
