OK, because I was bored, I elected to completed disassemble my rear wheel and re-lace it, instead of just doing the transfer-one-spoke-at-a-time to the new rim. As I was disassembling them, I wisely separated the drive-side spokes from the non-drive-side spokes, and then later compared their lengths. From my ROUGH eye, it appears as though my non-drive-side spokes are a couple MM longer than my drive side, but since they're all slightly bent having been laced previously, I can't really verify that.
So, I don't suppose anyone knows off the top of their head if the flange diameters for a Deore XT rear hub are identical, or are they slightly different? I am not home right now to use my calipers to measure.

I'm guessing there isn't a single speed Deore XT hub, so that means that one flange is closer to the center line of the wheel to account for the cassette. That means they spokes will be shorter because the don't have to reach as far to the rim when it's centered between the drop outs, not between the flanges.

If you have one of these rulers in your tool bin it has a wonderful spoke measuring tool that might be useful to sort out your existing spokes assuming that you could bend them straight enough to determine which pile they belong in.

Fortunately, I reassembled the wheel and it appears to be OK. Will be tensioning it up this evening.
