serial# m1h69624

Don't have much more info about yet.

A friend bought it cheap at a used bike shop and I'm looking to see if it is worth fixing up for him.

Do they have a specific serial system used to identify them?

Only real information encoded in the serial number is the date it was made: http://cyclofiend.com/notes/bsfaq.html

Pictures, description, measurements? Does it have any orignal paint/decals on it? Could probably id from that. According to the link and serial thats either a 91 or 81. It *could* be an import 2001 jp model, or a 71, though id be surprised. Sheldons site has all of the catalogs of the era. Bridgestone helpfully varied the paint every model year.

Value wildly depends on components, condition, and collector nerd craving. As a swag the 90s xo/mb/rb 1s will be $500-1000, 2s will be $300-600, 3-5s $150-400. The 80s road bikes im less familiar with, Id hazard in the range of $150-$400.
