Peddler Dave has informed me they have freshly brewed kegs of their kölsch style lager. He is curious what size we might want in order to determine the .83 price.

We need to generate more than a page a day to get this thread to 11 before ride time, folks. Do it for Ben. Do it for 'Murica.

What's the over/under on # of camp stoves being brought?

We don't need to get to 11 before the ride necessarily. There are usually several pages to document the shitshow afterwards...

Sorry guys, I'm a maybe but no on hauling the keg. If someone with a big rig were to volunteer I would kick in some funds, but as of now I plan on riding some portion of this trip.

me: "i'm a fat dad bod that has ridden a bike twice since 2016 started!"
you: "oh i know it, you do love yourself some taco time. but what does that have to do with ben country?"
it means that the ride will once again have full vehicle support from morning until the end! from what i've been told we can get vehicles close to the end (right andre?)
-get a keg put together and i will haul it
-i will carry gear from the start point to the end, throw it in the truck
-have something ridiculous to bring? like a homemade sauna for the woods, or a portable pool? put it in the truck!
-i will also bring a big pile of firewood and a saw, so no need to buy any along the way.
-i will pick you up if you break down or if one of you gets run over by a car.
got anything weird sized? get it to me before friday. pack your bags smart and drop off anything that you don't want to carry all day too.

What size were you thinking Jake? Last year, I believe we comfortably made it through two pony kegs.

2 ponies would be consumed quickly. Hell, I think when we did BC 8(the one where derrick set off that half stick of dyn-o-mite!), we had 2 full kegs, and we murdered those puppies.

okay, so kegs are covered. Are the "performance enhancers" covered? I would like to commit to an equal financial commitment to ensure a share.

I'm not sure the kegs are covered. When does the pledge drive thermometer show up on the homepage with a link to the PayPal address?

place donations via paypal into that, should be free, and i will push all the cash over to jake in one swoop. throw in a fiver, a twenty, whatever you'd like to pitch in for beer money. I'll get it all to him in cash.

ive changed lots of commonly used forum buttons to link directly to the keg fund donate page. enjoy your new beer donate user experience.
just chatted with jake. he's 100 in for the beer. i'll use any extra little bit of money for bulk water for day of rehydrating of the troops, and bulk bandages.
