Request: please, please leave your speakers at home. We do not need music every minute. Trees and rivers sound nice too.

Exceptions can be made for the boys.

I thought I might call them with a tip to double down on the hot case merchandise. Because that's my entire food plan.

I ride with a speaker when I roll with Odin on the Big Dummy. Ben did not approve of the playlist.

I'm married, I can listen to as much Katy Perry and Lady Gaga as I want.

I won't be brining it.

Did you know that a mature cedar tree can provide up to 1/4" of interception storage?

Jerf, that is not an excuse, it is uncovering a deep yearning.

On another note, I installed a front basket on my disc trucker and scaled down my shit enough that this will be my first overnighter sans pannier. Woot.

I just bought this: https://www.rei.com/product/894947/rei-helio-down-45-sleeping-bag

Inexpensive 45 degree compactable bag.

I'm a fan of a lot of different genres, but I fucking love pop music. Luckily Odin does too, so when we're watching music videos on Apple TV and he wants to watch Cool for the Summer again I'll be all like 'KAY.

I won't be making anyone listen to 'Bad Romance' or my favorite 90's Dad Rock station. I could bring a djembe and a guitar though, but someone else has to bring the pachouli and nag champa.

I was going to just do meat on a stick over a fire.

Should I be thinking of a stove? Am I going to die? Will someone let me have some boiled water in the morning for instant coffee?

Shit that really complicates things. I was thinking the Pocket Rocket for cooking my dehydrated meals, but I'd probably want the JetBoil for instant coffee in the morning. Is there any room left in the support vehicles? I don't want to be underprepared.

Ill have 12oz of hot, bubbling water for $5.

You only need 8oz? Deal with it.

The one you borrow from the huge pile of camp stoves.

Or this one: http://campstove.blogspot.com/2014/02/camp-stoves-costco.html?m=1

I guess I should not break the secret that there's a possible barbershop quartet competition at BC this year.

Anyone here know a good bass? I think we're solid on baritones and tenors, but a little thin on the low end.

I'm a massive preparer. Like every scenario, especially camping. "Man I wish I had %whatever%" - Jerf brought it. I'm fighting this part of myself very hard. I really want to bring as little as possible.

I've basically convinced myself I'm going to die in the woods.

I will pre-grind my coffee tonight and prepare my french press. HEll, I'll even set up some cold brew, and I HATE cold coffee.

Actually, I have! I even took off the rack and fenders so that I could put some collars on my too long mount bolts, since I discovered all this time I was never shifting into my smallest gear because of that bolt being too long.

Also, new cassette, new chain, full bike wipe, individually cleaned all the crank sprockets, disassembled and cleaned my rear derailleur. The new cassette is a 12-30, not an 11-28 - figured I may need those extra two teeth on the big gear.
