Shit that really complicates things. I was thinking the Pocket Rocket for cooking my dehydrated meals, but I'd probably want the JetBoil for instant coffee in the morning. Is there any room left in the support vehicles? I don't want to be underprepared.
If you bring two stoves, you'll be able to survive if one fails*. It's a big wide world out there, and you want to be ready in case something goes wrong. Just look at what happened to that kid that went in to the wild.
*This also applies to tents.

You make excellent points. I will be bringing two tents, two stoves, and two helmets. You never know what might happen!

You might need to consider a backup to the backup plan. Things are not so easy out there.

I'm trying to design my Ben Country experience to have three 9s uptime / high availability / disaster recovery.
I'm thinking leverage resources with one tent, sleeping bag, and helmet on my person, one of each in a truck, and one of each in another backup truck in case the primary truck breaks down.
Is there anything else I should add to my solution?
How many trucks will there be? Can I trade beers for truckspace? If there are 3 trucks I could aim for four 9s but I'd need to make an additional run to REI and budget more for Capex.

If you're going to bring smokes, bring real tobacco. Not these damn kid smokes. Nobody wants em.

Yo Ben,
Meet up at 9 at Uwajimaya. No ferry to catch. Leave at 9:30? 9:01? Just want to know so I can calibrate the time I'll need to drink coffee and purchase Japanese snacks.

Erika has to be back in Seattle by 2 pm Sunday, but still wants to ride some, so she's gonna drive to either North Bend or somewhere thereabouts and ride from there.
Holler if you know her and you're in the same time frame.
I'll probly take the third spot in the car for the return trip, unless there's someone who has injury/mechanical who needs it.
