Hey! Do any of you nerds have a USB to Thunderbolt to cable for me to borrow to connect up an older macbook pro to a new macbook air to transfer files?
Alternately, a male to male USB cable would work.
Thanks!

Hate to say it Dave, but that probably won't work ,since the pinouts for USB are the same on both ends (i.e. the TX for one is bumping up to the TX on the other, and RX to RX). You need a crossover cable that swaps on end so that the TX and RX get flipped, allowing for communication.
Alternatively, might be worth it to borrow a 64GB thumbdrive, they're about $13 nowadays.
