Anyone have any ideas on getting some sidi mtb's (dom somethings, I think) resoled? I've worn through pretty much the entire length of some of the rear cleats (as in, soccer cleats, not pedal cleats) and a good portion of the fronts, so that the pedal cleats are taking a lot of abuse.

I don't need anything super performance-oriented, this sort of solution would be fine if it was local:

Anyone have any experience in this department?

Otherwise, anyone have some doms or something similar for sale in the 46-47 size?

For local cobblers check out garths resole thread from a few weeks ago.

Whats your width? I have some VG sidi dominator megas which I never got in to and would let go for a pittance. Theyre 45 1/2 and "mega" is their wide designation so something E or EEE width.

do you think any old hiking boot resoler would be ok? I'm really clueless on this one but it seems like they might be different beasts.

Unfortunately 46 is the absolute smallest I can squeeze into, they're super glove-tight after a lot of use and a lot of leather conditioner (ie they're stretched around my feet).

Id try swanons on 45th. Theyve told me in the past when they disnt think it would work, instead of just taking my money. And i think they hand sports equipment in addition to the refular boots and oxfords. If they dont have a sole you like you might ask if theyd use materials you supplied. Lots of various replacement sole parts on ebay.
