Hey Kids,

unfortunately a friends wheel set got jacked (she was out of town for a week, and not from here, so unaware of the intensity of bike thievery)

anywhoo, before scouring craigslist or recycled I thought I'd ask if anybody has an old beater rear 700 C with 8 speed cassette that could run 28's...and a matching front one too.

THANKS!

Love, Mike

Yeah I've got a mismatched set (rim brake)but they are similar enough to almost-match (if you removed the stickers they are all black).

I might have an 8 speed cassette too no promises.

I dunno -$60 sound good for the pair?

PM me, easier to coordinate over email or text.

I know of a really sweet Women's Only race that is going to have an awesome Wheel set as a prize. Might not be helpful right now, but just saying. http://menstrual-monday.com/blog/7th-annual-girls-of-summer-2017/

if jimmy's setup doesn't work out for you i can also help out. i have a bunch of possibilities in the basement but the one i'm thinking of is:

-very good condition 8 speed hyperglide cassette, freehub is buttery smooth
-totally fine formula hubs on totally fine alexrims rpd15s
-newer shimano qr skewers

I cleaned them up for a build that ended up taking on a nicer trickle down wheelset so they're in nice shape. only downside is that some chucklehead drilled the valve holes for schraeder so i'd either set them up with schraeder or get some cheapo grommets.

the dishing looks pretty mild to my eyes, but also my eyes don't know much.

i can also help you out with tires, new or used, plenty of 28s. the rear currently has an almost new vittoria rando (white) on it.

but yeah, if jimmy's setup isn't what you're looking for, stop by, i have tons of options and would like to get rid of some
