I'm in ALL DAY MEETINGS that last until probably 7:30.
May I humbly propose that the first stop be a place that sells Tequila?

How is it pronounced?
It’s official—the hard “g†is incorrect.
Wilhite is not only famous for inventing the GIF, but he’s also become the foremost authority on how the acronym is pronounced. According to handful of blogs and websites, Wilhite and a Graphics File Formats FAQ page from 1997 argue that the proper way to pronounce the format is as “jif,†as in “jiffy,†rather than “gif†with a hard g.

Hard G crew. Whenever I hear someone pronounce it "Jif" I brace myself because there is a 95% chance the next thing out of their mouth is something 'clever' about the difference between literally and figuratively or some other pedantic bullshit.
Awesome. Worth it for Robert Costa's reporting alone.

Examples of 'clever' or pedantic things could one say about the difference between two words that have opposing meanings?
If you had a son and named him Tim, but proclaimed that the correct pronunciation sounded like "Time," and POTUS said you were pronouncing your kid's name wrong, would you say that you stand corrected?

Can we get a ruling on the pronunciation of Dada's last name?
