This year's Official Bikery Swift Campout will be at Belfair State Park! We'll get there via the Bremerton ferry and will enjoy a bunch of activities including (but not limited to) bicycle riding, camping, 'mallow roasting, sports, games, friendships, beers, snacking, and even 40ish optional miles of bonus graveling/sweating. All skill and experience levels welcome!

Here's where we're headed!: https://goo.gl/maps/vLQ631SPpSP2
(Official route TBA)

Rough plan:
-We'll meet at The Bikery at 9:00AM on Sat., June 24 and roll out promptly at 9:30 to make the 10:00 ferry. It's a 20-ish mile no-drop group ride.
-Choose your own adventure on Saturday after arriving at the park (e.g. we'll lead that bonus ride).
-On Sunday, we imagine a main group will head back sometime in the late morning / early afternoon.
-Everyone should plan to be self-sufficient with regards to ferry tickets, food, sleeping situations, and any other parts of your respective hierarchies of needs. There will be a grocery stop on the way, but it's primarily for ice cream and corn dogs.

Capacity is 24 people right now but we can ~*~**magically double it~**~*~ if we need to.

Someone is bound to have a catastrophic mechanical failure and it'll be a good story, but don't let it be you! Come to The Bikery to tune up your ride beforehand!

Email Mike (mike@thebikery.org) and Josh (josh@thebikery.org) with any questions.

So it seems there are two Swift campouts leaving Seattle that day: the one led by Swift and the one led by Bikery.

The Swift-led ride has two routes to choose from: the one Gary posted and this one https://www.blackriver.cc/rides/19447

Yup, i ran in to jason on the train tuesday. Hes doing the swift mtb route, issaquah, duthie, to tolt. There will also be bonus trails up in the hills afterwards as well. I *think* its relatively mild, if hilly, tracks.

I'm doing a different dirt route en route to Tolt. Note that the campground is full so you may hafta ditch camp. Or roll with The Bikery crew, which was super fun last year

As a heads up, there's a good spot to stealth camp on the river just outside of Tolt McDonald park (if the river isn't running too high.) Go past the group campsite, down to the river and then down the bank a bit. There is a sandbar with some hidden flat spots.
