I'm going to be back in NH for a big chunk of this summer and am planning on doing some touring. Instead of the usual northern stuff, I'm planning on heading south to visit friends. I have almost no knowledge of routing south of Concord or so. I searched the forums and it sounds like a "Matthew" character might know a thing or two, is he still around? Anyone else?

My very rudimentary plans are something along the lines of:
Day 1: Concord NH > Portsmouth NH (Start by heading south, catch rail trail in Goffstown?) [~65 mi]
Day 2: Portsmouth NH > Boston (East Coast Greenway, probably) [~90 mi]
Day 3: Boston >ferry> Provincetown MA > New Bedford MA [~100 mi]
Day 4: New Bedford MA > Providence RI [~45 mi]
Day 5: ???

At Day 5 I'm not sure what I want to do. I could do the "other" ECG route through Worcester (Dolla twenty five, pa) and then up to Boston again. Then maybe bus back to Concord the following day? Or ride it the next day? Or something else? Basically, what is the best way to get from Providence RI to Concord NH that isn't the way I took down? I don't know these roads well because Dumb and Dumber starts in Providence and goes south/west from there.

Very open to suggestions on routes or anyone I might get in touch with. I think I'll have my dad's Carver so any way I can get in some gravel/trails/gnar is a plus.
