This is from our friend Dead Baby Sarah...and I am passing it along. And volunteering first shift if you wanna join the party...
Dear Seattle bike family and friends of DBB,
The XXI Dead Baby Bikes Downhill needs volunteers to hand out wristbands and collect donations at the start of the race and at the end, at The Greatest Party Known to Humankind.
Minimum commitment needed:
First shift: 4-5:45pm in Beltown at registration
Second shift: 6:30-9pm at the party, Georgetown
You must be: trustworthy, ready to have fun/ approach people in the crowd, and on time.
Please send me a text or email as soon as possible, and spread the word. I'm building the baddest-ass volunteer army of the Dead Baby team yet!

I believe, since it's not an official anything, your entry fee is simply a "donation". I'm guessing, like in years past, this "volunteer" work will require standing behind a table and turning peoples' monies into water bottles & t-shirts (I believe wristbands are now being done at the finish line party due to concerns with them being swapped onto underage peoples' arms, not that I would know anything about that)
