next week is our anniversary ride. (13 years!). we've traditionally done thanksgiving meet up 1 hour later. meet at 8, ride at 830. to give people enough time to finish up their holiday events and still have time to meet up

that still sound good to everyone?

There will be another Wreyf-Port-Greening friendsgiving on Thursday at my restaurant. We have access to the entire lobby and rooftop deck of my building (400 Fairview Ave N. The Impinj building in SLU). All are welcome of course. It is encouraged that you bring a little something to share if possible. I'll be doing a couple of fancy turkey roullades, mash 'taters, gravy, and a few other things. We'll try to have dinner ready by 3pm, and some of us wil be there until just before the start of the ride. The SLU location makes getting to Westlake a breeze.

Here's the Facebook event. If you do plan on coming by let us know in the event page so we don't A) Run out of food, and 2) Have 300lbs of leftover turkey. And don't forget to BYOB kids.

fun fact: y'all started this mess in 2004, which was the same year that I started doing hallucinogens, the moral of this story is that if anyone brings hallucinogens on Thursday, I will take them

In 9th grade, spring of 1972, something called "green mescaline," which was almost surely a fairly mild dose of LSD mixed with speed.

Things got a lot more interesting later that year, in summer, when we were introduced to blotter.

Oh. And it's not the drugs that are crazy.

I am not familiar with the chemical composition of dryer sheet, I just thought it went with out saying that they should not be ingested.
"green mescaline" on the other hand sounds benign.

I'm on the wagon again, so please don't peddle whiskey on me. I just really want to ride bikes and not get fucked up.

I liked when Derrick put a dead pigeon in the fire. That was the highlight of the ride for me. Yes.

It was nice to see everyone, even if I had to bail early.

I'm hungover at work now, like old times.
