Hi.
I'm not planning a ride for my birthday, I'm planning a multi-day winter adventure. This will be the 4th in a series!
Here is the skinny: we rent a big cabin so that individual costs are low. We do potluck-ish meals so we can buy in bulk. We rent/ride fat bikes, cross country ski, downhill ski, hot-tub, shoot pool, drink and play games and generally loaf about a beautiful winter wonderland.
I'm probably going to rent a smaller adjacent space so we can bring baby and not be a PITA for everyone else.
We stayed here last year and it was super dope. ++ would repeat, though there are other excellent options in the area. https://www.vrbo.com/4714315ha
RSVP in this thread, on fb or to me directly.

Langston,
Thank you for the invitation to celebrate your day! And while I can't join, I look forward to minimal in-your-face updates about it.

I guess no one likes snow fun, or snow fun with me, but at least I haven't been vegetablised!

But yeah, sounds fun, price point and existential dread aside, I'm down for a ski retreat.

I'm a solid yes-but-dunno...
I do love going out to Winthrop / Twisp / Mazama in the wintertime, but the drive is long and I already have plenty of snow...
