It's been 6 years since the 4th of July fell on a Thurs. and it won't happen again until 2024. So shake-off your hangover from Joe Town, don your finest reds, whites and/or blues and enjoy the independence afforded to you by riding bikes! This is a firework-friendly ride, so prepare accordingly and if it bothers you, maybe stay home in your thunder shirt instead.
I see no reason to deviate from the usual standards so 7pm meet-up @ WLC, 7:30 departure! Pre-funk TBD, but I'll see what I can do about getting my roommate out w/ his trailer to do some grilling.

Thanks to the few of you who came out and kept the Thurs. night ride streak going. Miles were few and beverages were many as we enjoyed 4' bong rips, feeding the mosquitoes and witnessing the "ship show" of boats fleeing Lake Union. Oh and we even saw some fireworks, actually a whole lot of 'em as we had an excellent view of the Yarrow Point, Kirkland & Seattle displays. 5/7 would make bikes great again on Independence Day
