Long time no post. Friend of a friend had this bike ditched in their yard https://ibb.co/vq83VjW 90’s trek touring, rattle canned black) approx 60Cm, SR bars Shimano (she didnt know what kind, I cant see from photo) bar end shifters, Brooks saddle.

not much on that listing, but only thing close (date/location/type) i can see, might be worth checking with them

That theft listing is over 2 months old. If it were the same bike, that Brooks saddle would have long ago been replaced with half a bar stool and the drop bars would have been reversed and put into 'ejector seat' mode.

The bike was ditched in her yard for a while (3weeks) before she decided to lock it up and i seem to recall the old 1200s being steel, so thats a possibility, ill pass it along. -L

Rob- I always liked that the folks at R&E call that bar config the ‘DUI Bar’ pronounced ‘Dewey’! Plus, that would be the best name for a bike bar ever.
