You believed you could get there faster
You thought that you had to leave the spot that you had been
for that next spot.

Filthy Dreamer
Your lustful wondering keeps you in the same place

You derail, you re-rail
You call your cadence optimal
Your cadence, this cadence
The cadence of lies and deceit

You dream of propulsion wrought from
controlled explosion and stardust

This propulsion of the self will not set you into a future
This rumbling between your legs tells your brain
you do the right thing, and you smile

You believe you go from there to here
but you stay still

The dirty dreams of those
who do not know
what it means
to move
fill your head

You looked upon another and uttered aloud,
