Our erstwhile club President-for-Life (the formerly-dreaded) Ben Greening has given his imprimatur on planning for this year's Christmapocalypse Holidayzaster to commence. It will be December 14, 2019, starting at the usual meet-up time of about 4:30 with a 5:30 departure for racing and reindeer games. After-party somewhere to be determined beginning about 8:00 for clappies, gift-exchange, questionable decisions, and with any luck, surprise guests and almumni. Details forthcoming.

Update with deets: So, we'll meet up at Sully's Snow Goose at around 4:30 for prefunkage. Leave for holidayzastering at 5:30. We'll have some fun in the out-of-doors at various places, including, I hope, one that has a fire. After-party at the Duchess Tavern (which is also, thankfully, a bar) starting about 8:00 or 8:30. Our friends the Sugarplum Elves have agreed to show up around then, so we can't be late!
Clappies? Heck yeah! Come up with your own, as well.
You know the drill re: Gift Exchange. Bring a wrapped (or at least "wrapped") biking, camping, and/or drinking gift that you yourself would be willing to get. Not some shitty shit you're just trying to get rid of. (Although, as a general rule, adding a bottle of booze to some shitty shit can make it qualify.)
I don't know if there is going to be anyone to carry stuff to the after-party; ask one of those people with a truck.
Hope to see all of your there. Happy Christmapocalypse Holidayzaster!

Planning is afoot. There is indeed an idea; in fact, several of them. You can count on knowing where the start is before the start. Probably sometime after this Thursday.

Can I Pete Rose this, or would that be disallowed?

Speaking of afoot, I either fractured or sprained mine Saturday night (seeing the doctor today). You going to need any checkpoint help?

I'm looking forward to being a fully parental and lazy alumni and showing up at the post-ride party on my e-bike. I'll try to make up for it with a good gift.
Thanks Dave!
