What: Camping
When: Saturday night 2/8/2020
Where: Kitsap Memorial https://parks.state.wa.us/529/Kitsap-Memorial
How: Bikes!

Meet up in pioneer sq.: Occidental park
Ferry to Bainbridg: 9:35 or 10:40, (the 10:40 may dodge the rain).
https://www.wsdot.com/ferries/schedule/scheduledetailbyroute.aspx?route=sea-bi

Proposed route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/31882462

Firewood and gas station supplies are across the road from the entrance to the park, there are hiker/biker spots at the campground or cabins.

This is a unicycle friendly event.

Ooo, tempting.

... If nothing else for a day trip for some mountain biking (I'm guessing that's on the agenda?) Would that be Sat? Sunday? Both days?

Both days are on my agenda.
Weather looks more promising for Sunday.

Do we have a particular Bainbridge ferry we're aiming for on Saturday?

Breweries in Poulsbo open at 10 (Slippery Pig) and 12 (Valholl, Western Red) on Saturday. I don't know why I just looked up and posted those interesting bits of information, but here we are...

And no, I'm not advocating for super early. The rain isn't supposed to really stop until late morning anyway...

Ferry to Bainbridg: 9:35 or 10:40, (the 10:40 may dodge the rain, but the 9:35 allows time to wait it out visiting breweries).

I’ll be at occidental at 9am. Let’s catch the 9:35 ferry.

Meg- Kyleen and I are going to ride during the day. We are already here. If you want to drive over so you can get back you could park where we are and then head out early Sunday morning or late Saturday night. I might have a bed in my cabin if that sweetens the deal

Let the record show that I drove my bike to this. 2/2 for "bike camping" since getting a car.
