ps drive thru (are bikes allowed? prolly not) covid testing is now quick and easy to do with or without an appointment (thanks Christine Lechner Dostal) and results take a day or two to return. we've done it in our household.

the dawg known as rez told me he did this (twice?) on his bike at the sodo location. like you said, quick and easy without an appointment. i vaguely remember him saying something about it actually being quicker to bike up without an appointment than to drive up with an appointment.
