How many miles have you ridden with .83?
How many posts have you made to the .83 forum?
What's the Ratio?
I'm at 1.82. (I assumed that Thursday rides are worth about 100 miles a month).

Well, I joined in August. My weelky commute is about 40miles, and 90% of all other riding I do is with .83. I've ridden 2426 miles total since I joined, so my miles with .83 are about 1211, and with 1174 posts, my ratio is:
1.03 miles per post.

Lifetime .83 miles / lifetime .83 posts.

I guess I'm pretty close to 1:1.
It's two weeks short of a year of riding and I've ridden more over the time than any other similar period since I was about 14.
40 miles a week .83
45 miles a week commute
15 miles a week errands.
then some math happens
=
1:1.9! yay!

Am I the only one who actually knows how many miles they've ridden, instead of guessing based on an "average" point83 ride?

Bike computers are for squids and who has the time for google pedometer?
Yeesh!
1680/1514 = 1.11 just an educated guess.

my bike computer stopped working sometime last year, and i haven't really missed it - on the really epic rides i just use the ol' gmap pedometer.
i could go back through my credit card receipts though and compute my dollars spent on beer and nachos to post count ratio, if you need something more precise. actually, the dollars spent on beer to mileage ratio might be explanatory of my fairly constant weight.

I want to loose weight too, but it ain't happening. I think I am going to quit .83 and join Jenny Craig.

d00d the .83 diet (beer, nachos, ride lots) works for me. Still losing weight.

Featherhead wins again....
I'm at about 2.5, I had a cyclometer but it got killed on a .83 ride, probably during a big pile up while locking outside a bar/store

Using round figures; counting only .83 rides from July 07 Id say I'm around 1:1.
Do posts where I was calling out someone else's dumb ass post count?

Yes. But you are none the less in compliance with the Terms Of Service.

well, i apparently did 80 .83 riding days last year, for a total of 1998 miles - although that number includes my commutes and stuff. so let's toss out a couple hundred miles for that... let's call it 1750 miles total. my post count last year was 1253... so my ratio is 1.4.

I have no idea.
1.5? 1.1? somewhere in that range. I'm bored at work a lot.

Everytime I post here, I ride one less mile. Maybe more.
Guessing my YTD milage is about 100 miles of total bike riding, but I have no idea. I have 46 posts this year including this one.
In general, I ride more than I post. Thats all that's important, right?

honestly, I find the idea that someone keeps track to be kind of repulsive. Like, do you have spreadsheets of each of your rides with pivot tables and color coded bar graphs detailing all of your miles and what type they are?

too much and not enough. I sure wish it were reversed, though.
On a second look, I KNOW I ride way more than I post. I've been a member for almost 3 years, and I have far less than 400 posts. Them there are some good odds.

Before this post: 1800/329 = 5.47
After this post: 1800/330 = 5.45
Rides this year: 0
P.S. I so totally went back to all of the We Ride! threads all the way back through 2006 when I joined and did the mathematical calculations. I swear to it.

That comic isn't very funny. It's every day, and there's not enough pay off for the set up.

Point83 miles ridden: 80
Point83 posts (prior to this): 0
Ratio: 80/0 = horsecock
I win.
By the way, I've done my three rides and a race (over 2.5 years) so what's a man got to do to get his spoke card?
