I found his card and sent him some email a day or so ago asking what was going on.

Alex is an old friend of mine. We used to be mechanics at Montlake Bike Shop when we were 21. I am excited to see him open his shop!

i just left there, he was in the middle of painting, trim and wiring. it's coming together though.
