What is your obsession with 49T? They are quite rare. Even more rare used. 48T are a dime dozen used.
I had a great time last night. Sorry I bitch on the hills. Then I feel so great at the top. I need to remember that. That hill out of the beach was actually fun!

You don't understand.. when you ride a 79.5 gear inch fixed gear, the only way to attack a hill is to haul as much ass as possible so that by time you're near the top, hopefully you won't be pedaling so slow that you fall over.. it's the only way I know how to take on a hill!
Aaron, the reason I want a 49t is because I have a generic hub out back and I have NEVER had a single problem with the cog coming loose or lock ring stripping or anything.. so I don't want to touch it. I want to leave it as is.
49t will give me a good gear inch and a whole bunch of skid points, 48t will leave me with 3 or some crap.. I'll hit up ebay and bikepierats and FGG, surly someone will have one somewhere.

agreed. I was all reconciled to take a sick day, and then I remembered that our automatic deposit is fucked up and we were getting "real" paychecks today.

Thanks for keeping a bit slow on the way back down aurora last night. After not riding in a little over a month I was having serious leg pains/cramps. From Duck Island Zuvembi and I rode towards downtown where we split because riding on flat ground was hurting me too much. I ended up taking 5 and then riding downtown to catch a bus up the hill to my house. Today my legs actually feel okay too.
Great ride.

That's what happens when you don't ride... shitty. You'll be back in shape in no time, though.

yeah, I knew I was out of shape once I hit the edge of downtown and my legs burned going downhill. Just a matter of a week or so before I'm back to normal-ish I hope.
