I would love to meet the 5'9" person that fits on this one.

and then apologize to them for laughing at their freakish body proportions.

Also, that bike was only about $700 new (I had one, same year and everything. the wheels are terrible). Good luck getting $400+ for it.

Still has the reflectors on the wheels though, so might be in mint condition!

If I could just get the frame for the project, that would be ideal. *sigh*.

Yeah, using a stock photo tends to be a big clue something is fishy with the bike.

this is a really good deal on a fantastic little bike

it's actually 1-2cm smaller than most bikes that claim a "50cm top tube" because they didn't make the seat tube angle super steep to artificially shorten it

Seems legit to me. If the seller is willing to travel, or from Portland but goes to Western, or just trying to get a wider audience I don't think the multiple locations of the posting is a flag.

Seems knowledgeable enough, most sketch craigslist postings don't talk that much about bike parts and also avoid specific model names and things that make it harder for the rightful owner to search for a stolen bike.

$500 isn's a screaming red-flag steal price, either, IMO.

on an unrelated note, someone should buy this to save the frame from the terrible in-progress build choices going on here. that Rawland deserves better.
