that Kogswell is a screaming deal, fully loaded with a bunch of fancy accessories that would cost more than the purchase price
the frame and fork are identical to my red Kogswell, just with even fancier nerd brakes — we would be bike twinsies
I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who can rock a 34" standover clearance (just measured mine)

he responded yes for 400.
so i emailed him on another email address to see if he'd take 200 cash.
this is a fun type of haggling.
Wait, the CDale owner was willing to take $400?

i think it was a point83 person replying, probably axelrob. jokingly
Cool older touring frame. Note the seller is in Gig Harbor so you can pick it up locally-ish.
This isn't a super screaming deal, but if you can live with the quill stem and what looks like 35c + fenders max tires, this could be a very nice bike. It has all the braze-ons you need, double butted tubing, and is likely to go pretty cheap since nobody shops for Novaras.
...sell this bike so I can buy a carbon road bike for a charity ride...
Someone needs to buy this bike, ask which charity ride he/she is participating in, raise more money than him/her, trail them until the end of the ride and pass them meters before the finish so they briefly catch a glance of your orange spray-painted seatstays and cry out "carbon, whyyyyy did you fail me?" to which you reply "Didn't year hear? Steel is Real"

LOL THIS.
Also, "was tagged with orange spray paint".... like... tagged? Graffiti artists gettin' real on the bike? Was it a cover up for some welding thing? I want a bike like this, but something seems fishy...

As a carpenter I "tag" all my tools with the color yellow as to distinguish mine from others. That's how I read that line in the ad.

I can see that making sense for tools. We use colored tape to "tag" our power cords at work. But... a bike? I guess if it gets stolen, it's obviously yours. Until they rattle can the entire thing...

Debatable whether $800 is a super bargain or a fair price, but this seems like an all around solid bike for anyone looking for a steel disc road bike w/ 535 effective top tube. It'd fit me probably pretty perfectly (5'6").
thats a pretty bike, hopefully that goes to a home where it gets ridden

raleigh tamarack $85[/url] A lugged steel f'n mtb in 650B built for touring, guessing 54-56cm? An d heres a thread with builds & catalog
Dat seat. So slammed. How are you guessing the size? I can't understand why people don't put the sizes in the post. Measuring is hard. But not as hard as finding small bikes.

As I recall they only made those in 18" and 21". Eyeballing the head/seat tube in relation to 650b wheels and a flat top tube this is the larger size.

Should I attempt to pick this up for anyone while I'm down here?
I have no interest for myself but the price seems reasonable.
