these have those brakes. if you're thinking about buying, read up on them first and understand that you might want to swap them out.

Do you want a mellow Marin aluminum city bike with fenders, lots of gears, a rear rack, and 63mm front suspension to smooth out those pesky potholes?

Me neither. Also, neither does my coworker who is selling this. $250

56cm '10 Major One SSCX Frameset - $350

https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/bop/d/kona-major-one-frameset-56cm/6556009358.html

I love this frame. Super light, super stiff. It's a big 56. Price could use some work.

55cm early Alan Super Record - $650
https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/bik/d/alan-super-record-vintage/6545010282.html

Damn cool bike for alu nerds, might be a bit noodly though. Cockpit could use some cleaning up.

It's all in the eye of the beholder, man. This would be a sweet bike for someone's grandma.

meant to post earlier: gorgeous party painty davidson, full dura and a whole lotta other nice parts. 56cm TT, though it looks bigger to me?

not exactly a find, just pointing out that someone installed a door knob as a shift lever and didn't think it warranted mention in their craigslist ad

I had one, theyre a great “sport” bike. They really are sized ~3cm down for the sloping top tube. nice steel frame, fits 35s, all the fender and rack mounts. Works best with no racks, or light luggage. Would not want to load 30-50 lbs on one.

agreed super tempting. This would be such an ideal replacement of my "bar bike" with it's broken frame and internal drivetrain. Plus bonus SON hub score.

he's been riding it for 10 years as-is, it's fine. If it becomes an issue, viola you have an excuse for S&S couplers.

why am I not at all surprised that that bike would be ridden in a place like AZ. It's like someone decided to make the shittiest, most uncomfortable recumbent, and then for added measure double the seating capacity.
