"cyclocross bikes are sized the same way as road bikes, right?"
i see so many of these: bought my double cross without reading the geometry and then realized it way to big.

fyi, normally i ride a 59 or 60, and my double cross is a 56.

FYI Ben's double cross is too small for him, he has a foot of seatpost sticking out

Oh I bought my double-cross well aware of the geometry chart and it's a little too testicle-hugging for my comfort. The 62 cm cross check fit me fine, not so much the doublecross, so someone taller should buy it.

i thought that at first too, and i know it looks dumb, but alas it's just that they have stupid geometry.
way to short for how long it is.

if i would have gone with the 58, i'd have about 60mm stem, and that's retarded given i use it as a touring bike.

and i only have 6 3/8th inches of seat post. so there.

Yes I am. Even that is too big. I need a 46cm. Remember I am a mutant. I found one the day before I left seattle. Funny how a find one right before I am unable to ride for a month. It is being worked on as we speak at recycled cycle.

I went over to this guy's house to look at the bike only to be severely disappointed once I got there: not a Centurion Iron Man, but a Centurion LeMans. Bleh. Still a good deal for tiny working bike, but a big step down from one of Centurion's "Competition" models to a "Sports/Recreation" model.

Brooks Swallow Classic - Ti Rails - $200 (Phinney Ridge

Quote:
Very lightly used Brooks Swallow saddle (it was too narrow for my taste). This version has titanium rails, the standard steel rivets, and is black in color. Current retail price for a new one is $480-520ish, thanks to the price of Ti and the exchange rate with the UK. $200 or best offer.

I love mine, but you've gotta have a tiny butt for it; thanks dad.

Not quiet craigslist, but until the 13th local favorite REI has 25% off on all their Ortlieb (doesn't included those damn expensive Tubus racks). And Shimano's budget often on sale clipless shoes are only $50 too.

Don't forget about that "FALLMEM" 20% coupon for you members if you're picking up some other stuff.

A squid teammate has this for $350. Damn good deal yes?

Marin San Marino 52 cm rain bike

Steel frame for comfortable ride, with Campy Veloce groupo and Chorus shifter/brakes. Full fenders front and back. This bike is great on long rides, but is just a tad too small for me. Around 3,000 total miles on this bike. Pedals not included.

sweet looking redline, dents aren't great but it's hard to tell from the photo if it's cosmetic or structural.
