I can't walk in my room any more.I need to finish projects and move some parts.I really want Superbe Pro stuff and decent 7-8 speed wheel sets but I'll consider anything[vintage jerseys, lunch, drinks, date with your sister]Hell if the cause is good enough I could give some of it away. Here is the begining
campy
NR 2rear hubs,170 crankset, with rings, front and rear deraileurs[sort of beat],clamp on downtube shifters, bar end shifters, brakes and all the clamps and bolts for a grouppo
dura ace
late 70s stuff,crankset,brakes,front deraileur
galli
so much cooler than campy! BlueGreen brake set, crankset[alloy colored]
schwinn volare frame only
it's chrome,it's 531,it's 56cm,it's free to a good home.Cool conversion material
And lots of uncool parts.I know what this stuff is worth but I'm in it alot less than you'd think. It does nobody any good in a box.

Maybe we need to have a .83 Swap Meet.

If we ever get the Machine Shop / Club house going, People could just drop stuff off and pick up what they need. It could be our own private (free) recycled cycles.

Or just donate your shit to a good cause, Bike Works.

the problem with donating is that it's first come first serve.a campy group can pull 500 bucks or more.some one can just take it and put it on ebay.I'd rather see the stuff get some deserving project on the road.i don't really need the cash.i just want see it used and not collected.

Parts at a .83 only swap would go to your friends.

I would love to get the Galli gear, but don't have much to offer in trade. I do work at a kitchen store and could use my discount to get you some sweet cooking gear if you're into that.

what would the galli stuff go on?I wasn't kidding.if it's going on something deserving then it's yours.i know what it's like to try to build the coolest bike in world without any cash.i just started getting the stuff i liked and was going pick up the frame later.then i ended up with a 3 rensho katana.and i decided to go superbe pro.then the next bike i got was a prototype raleigh that the knottingham r/d department built for my friend.it's kinda 1 of 1 and deserves something period correct.and my trackbike is keirin fuji racer.i don't have any need for 70s italian parts.and to let them sit kinda sucks.

i'm not sure what you're going for. anyone here building a bike is going to build up the raddest bike possible and they will love it deeply. this is what we do with bikes. i think it sounds silly to get all skeptical about whether or not someone's project is worthy. i'd go so far as to say that is challenges the integrity of why we love bikes with pretention.

i'm a nut job. come shake hands with me sometime.

As some of the people 'round here know, I just had a sweet Colnago road bike built up. My next project is to have a nice single speed. Something that is still sweet, and has a nice ride, but more vintage parts so it doesn't have the 'steal me' flashiness of my current ride. I've got a nice 80's Cilo frame right now that I'm planning on building up. I suppose I should've asked what the crankset is, as in track, geared (52x42?) or, just the arms.

In either case I'd love to take a look and see if it would fit the application. The Cilo frame is a nice blue color, which might go well with the cranks.

In which case, I think I will pass on the Galli components. I'm not feeling the need for another geared bike since the one I have now is teh awesome. I'm not really going to be able to afford to build up the single speed until I've got a little more fundage going on anyway.

I don't think you're a snob - I see what you're saying. It's like handing down a bike to your little brother, knowing he'll love it and use it, instead of selling it on the open market. It's a nice thing to do.
