The folks over at ZAPP are gearing up for this year's Do It Yourself Academy (a summer series of low-cost workshops designed to enrich our lives and our culture through the sharing of skills and experience). Last year, we had to schlep all kinds of course materials (for beer brewing, knitting, zine-making) around town. Of course, this year we'll have to do the same. But we'd like to haul as much of it as possible by bike. Unfortunately, none of us own a trailer, and my bike buckets can only hold so much.
So, do you have any advice on:
a) building a trailer (without needing mad welding skills)?
b) borrowing a trailer from a kind soul?
c) buying a trailer for dirt dirt dirt cheap?

You can get those kiddie stroller/trailers on Craigslist for $50-$100, and if you strip all the baby junk off it leaves a nice platform for bolting on a Rubbermaid box. $75 for the whole getup.

Damnit, I emailed these people weeks ago saying they could borrow my big trailer or I could help them build one and nobody ever got back to me!

Joby with the LOlZ!
<critical review>
Personally, i loved it. I think Joby really was in the zone with this one. He used that classic Joby irreverence to make fun of a group of people that... well, quite frankly they deserve it.
I hope that we'll see a whole lot more performances like this in the future.
