Any ideas on how to get all the parts on a bike flat black? I want it to look professional and don't want to just spray paint it. I doubt that spray paint will stick well to the factory paint anyway.

No shit, this is what I did to keep my brass black in OCS. Saved me a lot of time. Aside from all the time spent fucking around with the markers, it meant less smoking.

Sand the shit out of the surface. Use a really fine grit sand paper.

get a flat black primer and, well, apply.

At this point, a coat of like ultra flat black should stick.

If you are doing this to parts on the davidson, I will hunt you down and cut your nuts off with a rusty butter knife.

I would never do that to the Davidson; that would be sacrilegious. I am looking to upgrade the fixie a little and want the bike to match my soul, flat black. I was actually thinking of using CARC so that it won't absorb chemical or biological agents but will soak up radar and light. I have to worry about things like this with apocalypse so closely upon us.

now there's a thought. Stealth fixie.

You could paint it all with the ACU Pattern. I did some experimenting and found out it works great in urban environments.

Sure. Powdercoating does that. I'm going to be getting an order together if you want in.
