We stopped by the College Inn tonight on the way back from Alki (me, langston, henry, gerry, his friend scott). The guy who works there who rides said you were there earlier drinking, sorry your wheel thing didn't work out.

Anyway, he said you can call ahead and reserve the back room for the after-race festivities. So there you go.

Yeah, we felt shitty about not giving you thwe heads up that we were rolling south instead. You missed jumping a train, blazing through shipping yards and Derrick and Jason being pussies about it the whole time. It was great fun. Then the usual boring-ass sit on a beach and drink BS. Good night though. about 5 of us made it out to Alki a LONG time before the rest of the pack. Haulin' ass like nobody's business.

Didn't we mention the bridge opened and we had to wait something like 15 minutes so a large tanker that sure seemed like it had clearance under the bridge churned by.

We were only bitching about the train yard because we knew exactly what was going to happen. Flats!

But I love jumping over trains and being next to them, so I guess it wasn't allllll bad.

And drinking on the beach is so high school.

word justin. That was a great race. Excellent location, sweet prizes and I appreciate all your work. The spokecards are awsome shit.

I rocked the flipflops because I am officially dead-legged. I've ridden more this week than I have over any one-week period in the last year +.
I don't think that with my cages I am any less effecient though, just risking serious toe-injury!
Between last night's bicycle hari-kari and my dead legs, I was only going to observe tonights races. With the WEAK showing of people (true, a lot of regulars were out of town, or pussies afraid to hill-climb) and the messanger folks not riding on saturday/shomer shabbas I was compelled to roll and represent.

The Stranger Booze Cruise was alright, we had to pay face-value + ($18.50 for two doubles) for the booze and we came back to port an hour early because some chicka got alcohol poisoning. I was sweating hard the whole time, because I had to leave my bike locked up on the waterfront. It was unmolested! Here's to getting the hookup on free parties, last minute style.

that was a lot of fun. i really need to work on climbing hills better.

Thumbs Up:
- to justin for putting this together
- to langston for racing in flip-flops (thereby allowing me to not finish last in my first heat)
- extra-sloppy kisses to chessa(platonically) and matt(no homo) for driving me back to the eastside afterwards (see below)

Thumbs Down:
- Seattle/King County Metro Transit for stopping bus service across the 520 bridge at 11:23pm on weeekends. Idiots.

She likes cash.

You'll want to talk to her about designs and materials though.

Super rad!
