Larry, the owner is a cool dude. By all means if you live in north Seattle, support him! I can't say enough nice things about Larry and his shop.

I had a wheelset built out there about 5 years ago. Prices were average, and it was a one-man shop back in the day. They were nice wheels. He was a bit of a turd personality-wise though. I felt a little looked-down upon for riding a less than top-flight bike and not being a spandex warrior. When I got doored and the front wheel taco'd, I went and got a cheapo from Recycled instead of dealing with the shop owner for the warranty.

Larry may be a little burnt-out. He is not as enthusiastic as he used to be. Plus he recently got divorced. Hmmmm.
Nothing can be as bad as the feeling I get when I walk into Speedy Reedy. Fuckin' hate that place.

I walked in there once to see if they had brake pads, and they looked at my bike like they'd never seen a fixie before. Total deer in headlights. WTF?!
