Well, except for the ones we climbed after you left. I think the prize has to go to the one west from Chateau Ste. Michelle, although those short blocks on Magnolia near the beginning were probably the steepest.

I uploaded pictures to the gallery under unsorted/uploads, but they probably should have their own album.

The final number of miles I had for the night was 100.09. I should have gone for 100.83.

Thank you everyone for coming, whether it to test yourself against the clock or to celebrate and watch others suffer.

I hope everyone had a fun day climbing through the random neighborhoods you never let me take you to (ooh the hills...waahhhh....). Most of those routes are ones I learned from my experience as a delivery driver; be it pizzas, flowers or the mail. Final mileage guestimates were in the 120s-130s, although Daniel Featherhead burned all the way back from Edmonds to look at the Thomas guide again.

Props to Aaron for lining up the Bat Cave and for bike schwag, that was a great place to throw a party and it wouldn't have happend without your help. It was awesome when there were so many people (50?) rocking to the DJs, drinking, playing foosball and generally f'ing around. We were going to do a sprint race series but the route took LONGER than I thought it was going to.

At 3am we locked up the cave and went for a ride. Myrtle Edwards to Ballard brige to Laurelhurst, up to the top via Bill Gates' dad's house and around W. Laurelhurst Drive then bombed down to 22hr starbucks, back to the cave. I indeed passed out on a chair and the remaining four stayed busy for two hours. Congratulations to Bob Hall, Daniel Featherhead, Miles & Owen. I have prize shwag still available for the other racers, for those who want.

I'll be up in Everett on Tuesday with my parents for dinner, and on Thursday I'm running the KEXP table at the Croc. I want to work together for another appearance by the .83 Beer Fairy, I can leave a keg in the back yard some morning...

I was just riding around and checking in and out of the Batcave throughout the day, rolled up to Ballard with a small crew in the evening, visited Alabama at the hospital with Heidi and Bob, hit up the Canterbury for a birthday party, and rode for a bit with the last men standing. I stopped around four. I put in some serious miles on a sweet roadbike that I loaned (and unfortunately, relinquished to him this morning) from the boy formerly knows as "bikedate".

And now the ball of my right foot is swollen, and I'm hobbling. I must move on from Chuck Taylors and platform pedals

I have posted pictures here:

They're mostly pictures of each checkpoint that I reached, but there are a few others in there too,

Enjoy!
